男人最醒又最蠢 智商兩極化
(明報) 09月 24日 星期一 05:10AM 【明報專訊】英國 一項研究發現，在全球智商最高的2％人口中，男性較女性多1倍，這不難解釋為何男性獲諾貝爾獎 的機會比女性高。但別以為男性在社會中佔有絕對優勢，在最低智商的2％人口中，男性數目又比女性多1倍。換句話說，男性最聰明但又最愚蠢！ 英國4名科學家分析了逾2500名男女的智商，包括測試他們在科學、數學、英文及機械方面的能力。結果發現，女性的語言能力遠超男性，而男性則擅長科學及數學。另一研究亦得出，男性在557個諾貝爾科學獎中獲得545個，佔絕對多數。不過科學家經過分析後發現，男性的智商水平趨於兩極化——最聰明的一撮男性較女性多，但同時最低智商的人數也較女性為多。

快樂值幾錢？錢是否買得到快樂，眾說紛紜，英國倫敦大學上周公佈的研究卻肯定，從人際關係獲得的快樂，可以用金錢衡量，例如從婚姻獲得的快樂，好比年薪增加83萬港元，同居更「值錢」，等如年薪多了127萬港元，低收入者也可做開心快活人。
研究員透過分析一項探討民眾生活滿意程度的政府調查，計算出健康和人際關係的金錢價值，發現受訪者如果身體非常健康，相當於年入多30.4萬鎊（約467萬港元）；而每周見家人朋友一、兩次，則如同每年多了5萬鎊（約77萬港元），而如果經常與親友共敍的話，快樂程度更如同每年多賺6.4萬鎊（約98萬港元）一樣。 不過，凡事都有兩面，婚姻幸福好比年薪增加83萬港元，但喪偶和分手都很「傷」，相當於年薪少了20萬鎊（約308萬港元）和5.8萬鎊（約89萬港元），不幸染上重病，則如每年損失48萬鎊（約738萬港元）。 - 英國《每日郵報》 Well --- if that's the case, I beleive i have gained a lot already.... =)
May 19 Rainy Day... doing nothing...It's a rainy day... think i should do some house work at home but at the end i just sit there - doing nothing at all. in fact i always wonder why we have to keep ourselves busy all the time. Is there something wrong with sitting there doing nothing ? (suddenly remember what jeffrey says in his blog... sleepwalking.... in fact i like sleepwalking sometimes hehehheeeeeeee ) just wanna waste my time and get a break.... probably becoz i have worked too hard in the past, always wanted to win and do my best in everything. at the end you find out that there 's nothing called 'the best' in this world.... i used to win all those awards in school... get straight As in my school reports but in fact i hate studying and all these awards and certificates are just papers sleeping in the big storage box underneath my bed every night...they didn't make me happy, didn't get me a good job / good life at all...how come i shed so much tear and worked so hard to get them ? i was just so stupid.....
now i 'm learning to make myself happy.... so what makes u happy ?

- when u watch tv with daibo ( thanks to daibo !)
- when u drink moet with your buddies at the poolside ( thanks to Moet and my buddies)
- when u sleep and switch off the annoying alarm clock ( thank god for creating weekends ! )
- when u watch Lam Yet Fung's concert ( also thanks to helen and ling ling !)
- when u read your friend's blog and get to know them better ( thanks to msn space Leslie !)
- when you spend your holiday in nice resorts ( thanks to the lovely tripadviser ! )
- when you watch the beautiful sunset above the Agean Sea ( thank god for the beautiful nature )
- when you see your friends' kids running around ( thanks to BB and Fiona ! )
- when you sing a good song ( thanks to 8/F and my tvb dancers ! )
- when u know that u 're blessed at church every sunday
March 16 who do u grow up with ?i grow up with dogs....
when i was small, alone at home, the big big german shepherd was with me. i was riding on his back. His mouth was probably bigger than my little stupid head but he didn't bite me !
when i get older, the little chiuwawa was with me. small yet spicy just like me. my fault to lose her as she gets old.... well - don't get a pet when you can't even take care of yourself / have control of your own life...i still feel bad about it.
when i get older - and older, the lovely brown fluffy coco was with me - in case you don't know, i was stupid enough to name myself after him. i bought him with all my savings and he was my light in the dark. and my god - he left me without making a noise and i hope that he's now safe and happyyyyy.....
when i get older - and older - and older, the lord brought daibo to my life. he's also brown, lovely, fluffy and FAT ! i love him i love him i love him ! when i think that i should make time keep him company ; but in fact, he accompanies me instead.... =)
